Black Devil - Disco Club

Have you ever wanted disco with the dance music and not the coked-up-wailing that often goes with it? If so, I suggest this fantastic release that sounds so far ahead of its time, it's hard to imagine it was bouncing around on the same shelves as Saturday Night Fever (it may not have been, but, that's the first disco album that comes to mind --- shut up).

The Bran Flakes - I Have Hands

The Bran Flakes fill up an odd space for me, falling between the giddy-happy heavily-sampled electronic feel that I often fall in love with, and, from there, into the surreal. They had, at one point, a site for the pure purpose of confusing visitors - while it's sadly missing now, the Bran Flakes are alive and strong with their peculiar and energetic brand of plunderphonics. Worth a listen if you're a big fan of sampling.
