Too many sedatives during a car-chase. You're the passenger, struggling to stay awake while the driver takes violent turns and over hazardous jumps, only to slow to a calm as they enter a quiet rural route once they lose the cops. Then, just as you're beginning to doze again, you're spotted, and the bad analogy begins again.
